Shaw’s 40th Anniversary

We are overjoyed to celebrate our 40th anniversary this April—a milestone we do not take lightly. This incredible journey would not have been possible without our loyal guests, exceptional employees, and dedicated purveyors, all of whom have played a vital role in our four decades of success.

We invite you to join us from April 7–11 as we commemorate this special occasion with a week of shucking fun events. Here’s what’s in store:

Monday, April 7 – Friday, April 11

Step back in time with our exclusive Shaw’s 40th Anniversary Throwback Menu, available in both the Oyster Bar and Main Dining Room. Enjoy dishes that made waves 40 years ago including Clams Casino, Sautéed Frog Legs, Blue Crab Stuffed Shrimp, Jambalaya, and 12 varieties of oysters on the half shell.

Tuesday, April 8 | Champagne & Oyster Event | 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Raise a glass to 40 years at this cocktail-style reception featuring four exceptional champagnes paired with Oysters on the Half Shell from Hama Hama and Island Creek. Held in the Main Dining Room bar under the iconic green “Shaw’s” neon, this event is designed for mingling and learning. We recommend booking a dinner reservation to continue the celebration afterward. $99.95 per person, plus tax (gratuity not included). Purchase tickets here.

Thursday, April 10 | Live Blues Returns | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Live music is back at Shaw’s! We’re kicking things off in the Oyster Bar with a special performance by Chicago blues legend Big Dog Mercer. Even better, live music will continue every Thursday from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Stay updated on our music schedule here.

Friday, April 11 | A Day of Celebration

Enjoy live blues performances throughout the day in the Oyster Bar:

The Oyster Bar will have roaming shuckers all day offering rare and specialty oysters shucked tableside.
