Shaw’s Chicago Oyster Bar is one of the first oyster bars in the city and you can rent out the entire iconic space for your next event! The Oyster Bar features a convivial atmosphere with spacious booths lining the room and an abundance of high-top tables surrounding the wrap around bar. The space accommodates 150 guests – perfect for reception style events.
The perfect fit for large corporate receptions, award luncheons and rehearsal dinners, our Rowe Room can accommodate up to 80 guests for a seated lunch or dinner or up to 50 guests for a cocktail reception followed by a seated 4 course fare.

This completely private, versatile room can accommodate a reception or seated gathering for up to 30 guests. The room can be set boardroom style [up to 16 guests], with two long tables [up to 30 guests] or up to three rounds [24 guests].

The eye-catching spread of chilled oysters on the half shell will be served alongside our house made mignonette, cocktail sauce & horseradish. We can arrange this over the top spread either as a station or we can coordinate a roaming shucker that will maneuver through your event adding a personal touch.
